Overview

Start your day with Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Talad Rom Hub or the Umbrella Pulldown Market. Walk through the active market area with your guide and see how local vendors sell fresh produce, seafood, snacks, and everyday goods right beside the railway tracks. When train operations allow, watch the famous moment as vendors quickly move their stalls and awnings so the train can pass through the market.

Continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of Thailand’s best-known floating market areas. Enjoy a short paddleboat ride through the market area and take in the colorful canal-side atmosphere, floating vendors, local food, souvenirs, and classic Thai market scenes. Afterward, return to Bangkok in the early afternoon.
