Omaha Beach
Pass by

Continue to Omaha Beach, one of the most famous and tragic landing sites of June 6, 1944. Known for the heavy losses suffered by Allied forces, this stretch of coastline played a decisive role in the success of Operation Overlord. Your guide will explain the challenges faced by the soldiers as they landed under intense enemy fire, as well as the strategic importance of this sector. Today, Omaha Beach is a peaceful and moving place, offering time for reflection and remembrance.
Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer
Pass by

Visit the Normandy American Cemetery, overlooking Omaha Beach. This solemn and beautifully maintained site is the final resting place of thousands of American soldiers who gave their lives during the liberation of Europe. Walk among the white crosses and Stars of David, visit the memorial, and take a moment to reflect on the scale of the sacrifice. Depending on timing, you may also visit the modern visitor center, which features exhibitions, films, photographs, and personal stories that bring the events of D-Day to life.
Arromanches-les-Bains
Pass by

Pass through Arromanches-les-Bains, a coastal town closely linked to the success of the Allied invasion. Arromanches is famous for the remains of the Mulberry artificial harbor, an extraordinary engineering achievement created to support the landing forces after D-Day. These floating harbor structures allowed troops, vehicles, and supplies to be brought ashore, playing a crucial role in the Allied advance across Normandy.
Pointe du Hoc
Pass by

Your next stop is Pointe du Hoc, a strategic German fortification assaulted by U.S. Rangers on D-Day. Walk among the preserved bunkers, artillery positions, and deep bomb craters that still mark the landscape today. Overlooking the English Channel, this dramatic clifftop site offers impressive views and stands as a powerful tribute to the bravery of the soldiers who fought here during one of the most daring operations of June 6, 1944.
