Overview

We are pleased to offer an exclusive journey to the heart of the Khmer Empire—the majestic Phnom Kulen (Kulen Mountain). Long revered as a sacred site by the Cambodian people, Phnom Kulen is rich in history and natural splendor.

At Phnom Kulen National Park you will traverse rugged peaks and forested valleys, explore ancient rainforest, and behold the iconic reclining Buddha. Wander along the River of a Thousand Lingas, where intricately carved lingas—dating back to the height of the Khmer civilization—decorate the riverbed. To complete the adventure, visit the park’s breathtaking waterfalls: swim in crystalline pools beneath cascading falls and relax amid the serene surroundings.

Phnom Kulen is not only Cambodia’s holy mountain but also a living treasury of cultural and natural wonders. Join us for an unforgettable experience that connects you with the region’s rich heritage and spectacular landscapes. Another opportunity to visit is a dense jungle temple of Beng Mealea.

During your journey to Siem Reap, you can choose from several optional excursions, including the enchanting Banteay Srei temple, the informative Cambodian Landmine Museum, and the tranquil Butterfly Garden. Beyond Phnom Kulen and the Sacred River of a Thousand Lingas, there are additional sites to explore.

If you would like to visit more temples, we can combine Prasat Pre Rup and Banteay Samre into your itinerary. Admission to these sites can be covered by the Angkor pass (available as one-day or three-day tickets). Banteay Srei—carved from delicate pink sandstone—is widely regarded as the jewel of Khmer art and is not to be missed.
  3. Prasat Beng Mealea
1h · Admission ticket not included
Beng Mealea is a captivating temple located about 66 kilometers east of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Built in the early 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II, this sprawling temple complex is a stunning example of classical Khmer architecture, yet it remains largely overgrown and in a state of natural decay, which adds to its mystical charm. Unlike the more restored Angkor Wat, Beng Mealea is often less crowded, allowing visitors to explore its crumbling walls, intricate carvings, and lush jungle surroundings at a leisurely pace. The temple’s design features a series of galleries, courtyards, and towers, all intertwined with trees and vines, creating a breathtaking fusion of man-made and natural beauty. Beng Mealea offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the Khmer Empire while inviting adventurers to discover its hidden treasures amidst the ruins.
