    Dyker Heights is a residential district in Brooklyn whose residents decorate their homes with incredible Christmas light displays. We will view the best houses while learning about neighborhood tradition.

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Meet at Gigi's Bakery, which is at the corner of 4th Avenue and 87th Street.
The meeting place is NOT in front of the subway station.

Meeting point is a 60-70 minute ride from Midtown or 45 minutes from Downtown.
It is not advisable to take a taxi/Uber. This may take a very long time (60+ minutes).

End point

The tour will end in the heart of the holiday lights district. It will be necessary for you to return to the subway on your own, which will be a walk of about 15 minutes. The tour guide will assist you with directions.

  • Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
  • Total walking distance: approx. 3 miles / 4.5 kilometers.
  • Not recommended for children, young teens or babies
  • The weather gets very cold (approximately 4 to -4 Celsius, or 25 to 40 Fahrenheit). You will be exposed to the weather for up to 3 hours
  • The meeting place for this tour is designed for arrival by subway. The subway is located far from the lights. So we meet near the subway, then we walk about 15 minutes to reach the lights
  • If you are driving to the tour in your own vehicle, please contact us more than 48 hours in advance so we can provide you with parking information
  • This tour includes a large amount of walking at fast speed. Do not bring people that walk slowly, as they will struggle to keep up with other members of the group who walk more quickly
