You’ll be welcomed into a charming, family-run wine shop, full of character and rich with local history. Your host—a passionate wine expert—will guide you through a tasting of four carefully selected wines: a sparkling, a white, a rosé, and a red. Each wine is chosen to showcase the diversity of Southern Italian grapes, from crisp coastal whites to bold sun-soaked reds.
As you sip, you’ll learn how wine is made—from vineyard to bottle—along with stories behind the grapes, the regions, and the winemakers who keep tradition alive while embracing innovation. You’ll also be introduced to basic tasting techniques so you can identify aromas, balance, and structure—even if you’re completely new to wine.
To complement the wines, you’ll enjoy a tasting platter of local food pairings: cured meats like capocollo or salami, aged and fresh cheeses, seasonal jams, artisan bread, and soft, golden focaccia straight from the oven. Everything is thoughtfully selected to bring out the best in each glass.
