What to expect

  1. Valley of the Kings
2h · Admission ticket not included
Your guide will begin by picking you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned car. From there, you will travel to the Cairo airport to be flown to Luxor. Upon your arrival, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name.

In Luxor, you will visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the original burial site of the boy king, Tutankhamun. Here, the magnificent tombs were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. You will have the opportunity to visit three tombs; the three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors and are therefore rotated throughout the year.
  2. Temple of Hatshepsut
2h · Admission ticket not included
Continuing on to visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahari. This impressive temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh, which rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs. On the return journey, stop off at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues representing Amenhotep III facing the Nile.
  3. The Karnak Temple
2h · Admission ticket not included
Then, visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple ever built. Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes, explore the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, see the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, and witness the Temple of Amun, adorned with exquisite lotus and papyrus designs.

At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo and taken to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
  4. Luxor Temple
1h · Admission ticket not included
The Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city today known as Luxor and was constructed approximately 1400 BCE. In the Egyptian language, it was known as ipet resyt, meaning "the southern sanctuary." At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo and taken to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
