Overview

Hampton Court Palace is one of the most spectacular palaces in the world and has been an important royal residence for nearly 500 years. Is famous as the home of King Henry VIII, one of the most renowned monarchs in English history.

The morning tour takes you through the spectacular 1,000-room palace and gardens. Your private guide will show you all of its treasures, including the stunning Chapel Royal and staterooms.

The palace is an architectural masterpiece with many original features such as blood-red walls and intricately carved woodwork. The exterior design is strikingly symmetrical, with an octagonal central courtyard surrounded by four wings, each of which is topped by a dome.

Halfway through your tour, stop off for a refreshment at one of the palace’s cafes (own expense).

Then enjoy the amazing experience to see historically significant artwork including Rembrandt, and Caravaggio at the Cumberland Art Gallery.
