Day 2: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

   After an early breakfast, your private safari guide from Lappet Faced Safaris will drive you from your accommodation in Arusha to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations in Africa. As you descend into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by stunning landscapes, including lush grasslands, swamps, and forests. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhinos. With over 500 bird species, you may also spot flamingos along the crater’s lakes. With a bit of luck, you might encounter all the Big Five animals. These are some of Africa's most iconic wildlife in this breathtaking natural sanctuary.
   
   After the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Tarangire National Park (Night Game Drive)

   After breakfast, you'll depart your lodge and set off on a drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations. Renowned for its massive herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, the park offers a unique landscape filled with lush river valleys, open savannah, and dense woodlands. Spend the day on an exhilarating game drive, where you might encounter lions lounging under trees, graceful giraffes grazing, herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as impalas, gazelles, and the elusive leopard.
   
   Tarangire is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 500 species, including vibrant hornbills and ostriches. As twilight falls, enjoy a thrilling night game drive to spot nocturnal creatures such as hyenas, leopards, aardvarks, and owls. This unforgettable safari adventure offers an up-close experience with the incredible wildlife that calls Tarangire home.

Day 4: Tour Tarangire National Park, Drive to the Airport

   On your second day in Tarangire National Park, you will enjoy another exciting game drive through this wildlife-rich destination. The park’s expansive landscapes are teeming with elephants, often seen in large herds, and a wide variety of other wildlife, such as buffalo, impala, giraffe, and zebra. Look out for predators like lions and leopards, often hiding in the shade or stalking their prey in the tall grass. With over 500 bird species, Tarangire is a birdwatcher’s paradise, offering plenty of opportunities to spot colourful species like hornbills and vultures.
   
   After an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery, your guide will transfer you to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure with Lappet Faced Safaris
