   Discover a different side of Bangkok on a guided journey along the Chao Phraya River and the historic canals of Thonburi. Known as the ‘River of Kings’, the Chao Phraya has linked royal palaces, ancient temples and trading communities for centuries. Travelling by boat reveals landmarks such as Wat Arun, the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, alongside traditional stilt houses and canal communities hidden from the city’s busy streets. A highlight is Baan Silapin, ‘The Artist’s House’, where we join a workshop at a restored 200-year-old property beside Khlong Bang Luang. A Thai lunch at a local restaurant and refreshments are included in this highly recommended, family-friendly excursion.

Hotel pickup is available from most centrally located Bangkok hotels. Regions outside the central business district such as Khao San Road, Rattanakosin, Nonthaburi, Thonburi, Minburi, both International Airports, Ratchadapisek and upper Sukhumvit (Soi 55 and further) are excluded and supplementary charges apply.
