Overview
Take Devil’s Staircase trekking and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Southern plains with wonderful other attractions including Bambarakanda waterfalls which is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. This route is famous for being a hiker friendly route with its craggy twists and turns earning its rather frightening name. You will enjoy a natural river bath and lunch.

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven Bandarawela or Ella railway stations to catch the train to to Ohiya. This one and half hours train journey is one of the best scenic journeys in the railway network of Sri Lanka.

Hike through the rugged terrain passing some wonderful valleys, waterfalls and tea fields. The cool climate makes it an attractive destination for nature trekkers.
