Overview

See one of the world’s great monuments up close on a full-day tour to the Jinshaling section of the Great Wall of China. What to expect

Morning pick up from your downtown Beijing hotel by your friendly tour guide and driver and head to Jinshanling Great Wall (about 2.5 hours driving time). The Jinshanling Great Wall is located about 140 kilometers (87 miles) northeast of Beijing city, China. It is the best preserved part of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) with many original features. Jinshanling connects to the Simatai section of the wall in the east and Gubeikou section in the west, retained its original look since its construction several hundred years ago. It is relatively isolated and offers a great view, which attracts the hiking fans all the times. After 3.5-hours hiking and enjoying the sightseeing of the Jinshangling Great Wall, you will have an authentic Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Then drive back to your downtown hotel around 4:30.p.m.
