Walk along the area and besides learning the history from your tour guide, you will also see many locals play Taichi, sign songs, or dance here. It's now a very popular place particularly for Beijing's seniors. If you like, you are very welcome to join them.
3. Tiananmen Square

   After a tasty local lunch, continue to the famous Tiananmen Square. Located in the center of Beijing, 880 meters from south to north and 500 meters from east to west, a large city square in the center of Beijing, China.

   Followed by the Forbidden City, which is located in the center of Beijing, nearby Tiananmen Square. It is the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest palace with 9,999.5 rooms, formerly the Chinese imperial palace for the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty (close on Monday).
   After the tour, you will be transferred back to your Beijing hotel (at your own arrangement).
