Overview

Pompeii walking conditions The Pompeii visit involves approximately 2 hours of walking over ancient, irregular and uneven surfaces. Participants should be comfortable walking for extended periods and navigating uneven pavement, steps and archaeological surfaces. The tour takes place in all weather conditions. We recommend bringing: - A hat - An umbrella in case of rain - Comfortable walking shoes Wheelchairs, bulky suitcases, selfie sticks, tripods and motorized vehicles are not permitted inside the archaeological site.
Lunch Lunch includes: - A typical Italian fried appetizer - One pizza of your choice between Margherita or Marinara Drinks and any additional menu selections are not included and must be paid directly at the restaurant. Guests with food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should communicate them in advance. Alternative options are subject to restaurant availability.
Accessibility and physical requirements This tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for travelers with significant walking difficulties due to the uneven surfaces inside Pompeii. Infants must sit on an adult’s lap during transportation where required. Service animals are permitted where allowed by the individual transportation providers, archaeological site regulations and venues involved.
Health considerations Because the itinerary includes extended walking, uneven terrain and a full-day schedule, the experience may not be suitable for guests with serious mobility limitations or medical conditions that could make prolonged walking difficult. Train schedules High-speed train departure and arrival times are subject to railway schedules and availability. The overall program may therefore be adjusted according to the confirmed train schedule. Order of visits The order of Pompeii, Naples sightseeing and lunch may be modified according to traffic, train schedules, local restrictions or operational needs.
Weather, clothing and itinerary The tour operates in all weather conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended, together with weather-appropriate clothing. Waiting times, temporary site closures, traffic and other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control may occur. The driver, guide and operating staff reserve the right to modify the itinerary when necessary for operational or safety reasons.
