Today we explore Fes and you will walk through the narrow streets of Fes which was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa Fes city is a the former capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. We explore Fes El Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall and it is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies is the oldest university in the world . The University of Al-Karaouine was founded in AD 859 and it is still operating nowadays. Overnight in local riad.
Day 6: Fes – Atlas – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Today after breakfast we’ll drive through the Dades Valle, we explore KalaaM’gouna via the way of the thousand Kasbahs. KalaaMgouna, is “the rose city”, where you may purchase the rosewater. We continue on to Skoura and you’ll visit the Kasbah Ameridil.

It is a fortified village and its Kasbah is situated in the hills along the Ounila River. Ait Ben Haddou has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced here including: The Mummy, Alexander and Babel.
