Overview

Book the whole boat for a private, fully customizable sunset cruise off Tamarindo. Your local guide plays your music, keeps the vibe and smiles going, and serves a relaxed apero on board with beer, wine, and guacamole. Snorkel stops let you spot colorful reef fish, rays, turtles, and even dolphins or whales, and trip photos are included to take home.

What to expect

  1. Tamarindo Beach

    Meet your crew on the beach in front of El Chiringuito. Our panga (small boat) takes you out to our main boat, El Hipocampo, where the captain and crew welcome you on board with a short safety briefing and go over the plan for the day with you.

    After a 30-minute cruise along the Guanacaste coast with music on board, we reach the Catalina Islands for the first snorkeling session of the day, about 45 minutes in the water. Tropical fish, spotted eagle rays, and sea turtles are regularly seen here. Masks, snorkels, and life jackets are provided.

    Time for an apero on board with cold beer, wine, soft drinks, and guacamole with chips, followed by a second snorkeling session of about 45 minutes. Depending on the day's sea conditions, the captain may choose another nearby spot such as Playa Carbón.
  4. Tamarindo Beach

    We cruise back to Tamarindo as the sun sets over the Pacific, with music, golden light, and time for photos. A quick debriefing with the crew, and the panga brings you back to the beach where the tour ends.
