Overview

    Your guide will have plenty to tell you about the history and the legends of all the gods and heroes, such as almighty Zeus, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, Poseidon, God of the Sea, Dionysus, God of Wine and many more. Through timeless myths you will explore the Theater of Dionysus, drama's first home; the resplendent Propylaea; the sacred Erechtheion; the Temple of Athena Nike and, of course, the magnificent Parthenon, perhaps the world's most iconic building. All this will come alive in a way that keeps everyone's attention and interest, kids and parents alike.

Your meeting point is at the exit of the Acropolis metro station.
The closest metro station is ACROPOLIS. If you get there by metro, follow the signs for the exit “Makriyani/Dionisiou Aeropagitou”.
It might be busy, so look for the guide with an Alternative Athens Sign.

Pickup details

If your hotel is in central Athens and within 10–15 minutes of the tour’s starting point, your guide will meet you directly at your hotel. Otherwise, you will meet your guide at the location arranged with your travel designer.

  • Strollers and wheelchairs cannot be used throughout the tour and especially on the rock of the Acropolis and have to be left at the NORTH entrance of the Acropolis (not the south entrance which is used for this tour).
  • Backpacks and big bags are not allowed in the Acropolis and should not be brought to this tour.
  • If you are entitled to free/reduced entrance fees please don’t forget to bring a valid identity card or passport.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable, non exchangeable
