Overview

Short on time but dreaming of the Sahara? This private 2-day tour takes you from Fes to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, with your own driver and vehicle just for your group. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, stop in Ifrane, “the Switzerland of Morocco,” look for wild Barbary macaques in the cedar forest, and follow the palm-filled Ziz Valley south. At sunset, ride a camel into the dunes to your desert camp for a traditional dinner, Berber music around the fire, and a sky full of stars. Wake early for a desert sunrise before returning to Fes. Because the tour is private, you choose your departure time and can stop for photos whenever you like.
