Overview

Experience the best of Old Québec on this walking tour!

Begin in Lower Town from our office and stroll the cobblestone streets of Old Québec, filled with historic buildings and public art. Explore Place Royale, a picturesque square showcasing French-Canadian heritage, then wander down Rue du Petit-Champlain, alive with artisans, musicians, and the city’s famous joie de vivre.

Take the funicular up the cliff for stunning views of the St. Lawrence River. In Upper Town, admire the iconic Château Frontenac and walk on Dufferin Terrace, enjoying river views like Québec’s elite once did. Your guide will share stories of language, history, geography, and culture, passing by the historic Notre-Dame de Québec Cathedral.

If the funicular is unavailable, we can arrange a cab ride or provide a ticket to use later, at your discretion. A 15–20% tip for your guide is strongly recommended at the end of the visit.
