Overview
Start your day in Città della Pieve with a stroll through its lively local market, where you’ll discover authentic Umbrian products such as cured meats, cheeses, fresh produce, and the town’s prized saffron. After browsing the stalls and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, take a break with a traditional Italian breakfast at a charming café in the historic square. The experience continues with a scenic return home—about 8 km—where a hands-on cooking class awaits. Using the ingredients gathered at the market, you’ll prepare typical regional dishes that celebrate the flavors of Umbria. From market to table, this experience offers a perfect blend of local culture, culinary tradition, and relaxed countryside living.
