During this hands-on class, I will guide you step by step through the process of making fresh pasta from scratch and preparing traditional pesto using the classic mortar and pestle, just as it has been done for generations.

But the experience doesn’t end there. Together, we will also make a crostata, a simple yet delicious Italian tart, using a recipe passed down to me by my father. It is a personal and meaningful part of the class, giving you the chance to discover not only Italian flavors, but also the family traditions behind them.

Once the cooking is finished, you will have the pleasure of sitting down to enjoy everything you have prepared, accompanied by excellent wine, in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of my home.

What to expect

In this hands-on class, I will guide you step by step through the preparation of fresh pasta and traditional pesto made with a mortar and pestle. You will also make a delicious crostata, a simple and much-loved Italian tart based on my father’s family recipe. After the class, you’ll enjoy your homemade dishes in the comfort of my apartment, accompanied by excellent wine. In summer, if you prefer, we can dine in my beautiful garden, a peaceful oasis where you would never imagine being in the heart of London.
