Day 2: LECCE - OTRANTO:

   After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to visit Lecce by foot, an elegant and refined city rich in art and history.
   You will visit churches and palaces in baroque style, and see for yourself the refinement of the "Lecce Baroque".
2. Otranto

   After lunch, transfer to Otranto, the easternmost city of Apulia and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, where you’ll visit the charming old town and the Romanesque cathedral with its beautiful mosaic.

   Return to Lecce. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 3: OSTUNI-MARTINA FRANCA-LOCOROTONDO

   After breakfast, check-out and meeting with the driver in the hotel lobby. Transfer to Ostuni, the white city.
   A local tour guide will be waiting for you to introduce you to this picturesque village.
   
   You will continue on to see Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, nestled in the beautiful Itria Valley.
   
   Light lunch with local products such as the typical "capocollo" ham.
2. Locorotondo

   We will continue towards Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Light lunch with local products such as the typical "capocollo" ham.
3. Martina Franca

   After lunch, transfer to Martina Franca to discover its beautiful historical center.
4. Monopoli

   We will reach Monopoli, a characteristic citadel on the Adriatic sea where you will stay for two nights.
   Check in Hotel Palazzo Indelli (or similar)

Day 4: ALBEROBELLO - ORECCHIETTE LESSON - MONOPOLI

1. Alberobello

   After breakfast, you will meet the guide who will take you to discover Alberobello.
   During the guided walking tour, you will admire the rural architecture of the "trulli" and you will have the opportunity to visit one of them.
   A true journey into the past and a testimony on how peasant families used to live in Alberobello.
   Afterwards, transfer to a typical farmhouse for an orecchiette pasta making lesson.
2. Monopoli

   Return to Monopoli. Dinner at leisure.

Day 5: POLIGNANO A MARE - WINE TOUR - TRANI

   Breakfast and Check-out. Departure in the direction of Polignano a mare.
   A guide will accompany you to discover Polignano, a beautiful seaside town that gave birth to the singer Domenico Modugno. A pleasant guided walk will lead you to discover this authentic jewel overlooking the sea, its panoramic terraces, its flowered alleys and its history.
   Then transfer to a winery for a visit and tasting of 3 local wines and typical products.
2. Trani

   In the afternoon, you will reach Trani.
   Check-in a selected boutique hotel.
   Sunset tour of the historical center with its majestic cathedral by the sea, its Swabian castle and the old town, where there is an ancient Jewish quarter called "La Giudecca" with two 12th century synagogues. Dinner at leisure.

Day 6: CASTEL DEL MONTE - EVO OIL TASTING - MATERA:

   After breakfast, you will meet your guide at Castel del Monte, a Unesco site since 1996.
   This medieval castle is considered one of the most fascinating in southern Italy for its particular shape and history.
   At the end of your tour, you will taste the local extra virgin olive oil, rich in polyphenols and precious for its organoleptic properties.
2. Matera

   After a short break, you will cross the Murgia territories to reach Matera, an important UNESCO site and European Capital of Culture 2019. You will immerse yourself in the history and landscapes of a timeless city with a local guide. You will learn all about the two ancient quarters carved into the rock, where the inhabitants lived until the beginning of the twentieth century.
3. Bari

   Transfer to Bari where you will spend the last night of your tour.

Day 7: BARI STREET FOOD TOUR

   Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of Bari with tasty stops to sample the local street food. You will start from the Swabian Castle and continue through the alleys of the old town called "Bari vecchia". Here, you will meet the ladies who live in the typical "bassi" of the center and who prepare fresh handmade pasta - "orecchiette” -on the doorstep of their homes. You will taste the sgagliozze (squares of fried polenta) and the typical Barese focaccia with tomatoes. You will visit the Cathedral of San Sabino and the Basilica of San Nicola, a splendid example of Apulian Romanesque architecture. End of services.
