Turda Gorge, salt mine and Rimetea village private tour

   You will descend into the underground where you'll completely be surrounded by salt.
   Walk on a man-made gallery, visit three mining chambers, learn about mining techniques and local urban legends. Chance to take a boat or a Ferris-wheel ride.
   The visit of the mine involves climbing and descending some stairs. In total there about 500 steps to go up and down, but most of them can be avoided by taking two different elevators (time & crowd permitting).

   Walk along a wild gorge for about 1.5 km. Admire the different vegetation and rock formations, as the gorge was declared a complex nature reserve. Quest a fortified cave before getting back the same way you came .
   For the bravest of you, chance to take a zip line ride close to the gorge.
3. Rimetea

   Admire the white ginger-bread-looking-like houses in the charming little village of Rimetea, while the guide tells you stories about the Szekler community and their heritage. Learn why a once famous town contracted into a village. Find out about the guild system, the use of natural resources for economic growth and, nevertheless, the civic spirit of the local community.

For private tours we offer pick up from your accommodation or any other spot in the city (unless a pedestrian / one-way street). At the time of booking, please give us the address where we can meet you.
For shared tours, we ask travellers to choose one of the two set pick up locations.
