Overview
This is the best view in the city, you can see the whole landscape, from the hills in the east, where from the Douro river flows, down to its mouth, and the Atlantic Ocean. Along the views, you will be privy to an explanation on the history, stories, and legends of both Porto and Gaia.
The beginning of the 45 minutes climb, has the only exhibition that shows the past of the hill where the climb takes place. The steps climbing are spectacular, revealing the building slowly, and the top is a wonderful spot to be, relax and take photographs, great it you want to have beautiful views, unique moments, and a bit of exercise.
