Overview
Stepping into La Scala is entering a place where Opera really thrived and became one of the most popular form of entertainment in the XIXth century.
Mythical composers such as Bellini, Rossini and Verdi created some of their most important works there and La Scala is often referred to as a “second home” by the likes of Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti.
La Scala museum is the perfect place for your personable tour guide to delight you with interesting anecdotes and take you through a vast collection of objects, instruments, and other musical curiosities, as well as a gallery of busts and paintings portraying the most important Opera composers and singers, including Giuseppe Verdi and Arturo Toscanini.
This tour also includes the unique opportunity to see the inside of La Scala Theater directly from one of the boxes (unless when the boxes have to remain closed due to particular production needs).
