Vietnam is one of the world’s leading coffee producers, and coffee is an essential part of daily life in Ho Chi Minh City. In this Vietnamese Coffee Workshop, you’ll go beyond tasting — you’ll learn how coffee is made, why it tastes unique, and how it connects generations.
Hosted in a welcoming local home, this class offers a relaxed and authentic setting to explore Vietnamese coffee culture. Your host will introduce the history of Vietnamese coffee, from its origins to today’s vibrant café culture, along with insights into Robusta beans and traditional roasting styles.
Then, it’s time to brew.
Using the traditional phin filter, you’ll prepare coffee step by step, learning the proper ratios and techniques for the perfect drip.
During the workshop, you’ll make and taste five iconic styles:
Traditional Phin Filter Coffee
Vietnamese Milk Coffee
Hanoi Egg Coffee
Mekong Coconut Coffee
Hue Salted Coffee
Along the way, you’ll understand the flavor differences and cultural stories behind each variation.
More than a class, this is a cultural exchange inside a real local home — a memorable and flavorful experience in Ho Chi Minh City.
