Day 1: Transfer from JHB to Tremisana

   We collect our clients from all hotels and guesthouses in Johannesburg as well as from O.R. Tambo Airport. We travel via farmlands to the picturesque Lowveld and on to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule Section of the Kruger Park. After a short break, during which you may unwind at the bar, have a swim or relax in the tropical gardens, we board the open Landcruiser for a 4h Sunset Drive. Your guide will show you various animals and birds and after darkness falls, we use spotlights to locate nocturnal species. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BBQ at our Marula Tree Boma. After dinner continue the Night Drive and overnight in comfortable air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed chalets.

Day 2: Bush walk and sundowner game drive

   Awaken at sunrise for an exhilarating day of unforgettable bush life. Drive to a remote part of the Balule Game Reserve, where you enjoy a 4h Bush Walk. Your experienced field guide will lead you through the bush. The thrill of following Africa’s large animals until you can take a photo will remain with you forever. Adrenalin surges will be acute, notwithstanding the presence of your armed ranger. Return to Tremisana for brunch. Lunch will be served in the Lapa at 13h30. At around 15h00 we go on an afternoon game drive. Transfer to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where accommodation is in fascinating and romantic treehouses.

Day 3: Full Day in Kruger

1. Kruger National Park

   Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided Gameviewer. You will have an opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. We have regular stops at picnic spots, restcamps and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi regions’ open plains attract large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that, in turn, attract many predators. In fact this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa.

Day 4: Morning walk and transfer back to JHB

1. Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve
   1h · Admission ticket included
   Enjoy a Sunrise Walk. After breakfast, drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours of the Blyde River Canyon with a stop at the magnificent Three Rondawels. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off by arrangement.

Pickup details

Take note that transfers to the lodges are included in the package. All transfers that depart from the airport (O R Tambo Airport) depart no later than 9:30am and flights should be booked accordingly. Allowance needs to be made for disembarkment and customs to meet your driver on time. Drop offs at the airport are by 5:00pm on the last day. Again, allowance needs to be made for Check in and Boarding. Please bear this in mind when booking flights.

We will collect you from your Johannesburg hotel (location dependant) or O.R. Tambo Airport on the day of departure as mentioned. We would recommend booking accommodation either at the airport, (O R Tambo Airport) or in Sandton City.
