Overview

Take a day trip from Munich to Nuremberg by train and spend the day seeing the historical city’s highlights with a private guide at your side! On the train you can ask your guide any questions you may have or simply relax and enjoy the view.

With a flexible itinerary that’s tailored to your interests, this full-day sightseeing tour takes in two of Nuremberg’s must-visit sites: the walled medieval Old Town and the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Admire stunning Gothic architecture, and then learn about Nuremberg during the days of the Third Reich while visiting the Imperial Castle, Marketplace with Beautiful Fountain, St Lawrence Church, Luitpold Arena, Congress Hall of the Nazi Party and more. Or, if you prefer, visit to the Nuremberg Trials Courthouse instead (open every day except Tuesday).

The tour price includes first class regional train tickets on the direct train from Munich to Nuremberg for all participants. For an additional fee, taking the ICE train is also possible.

    Optional visit to the site of the Nuremberg war crimes trials. Please note that the courthouse and the rally grounds are on opposite sides of the city so it is not possible to include the courthouse and a tour of the old town and a trip to the rally grounds all on one tour. You will have time two out of the three areas. Just let your guide know what you are most interested in. Please also note that the courthouse museum is closed on Tuesdays.
