Releasing baby sea turtles into the sea isn’t just a dream come true for nature lovers—it’s a meaningful way to contribute to the survival of these incredible creatures. Guided by dedicated biologists, you'll gain a deeper understanding of sea turtle behavior, their life cycle, and the challenges they face in the wild.

As you walk to the turtle camp, you’ll also have the chance to learn about the surrounding mangrove ecosystems—an essential and often overlooked part of coastal conservation. It’s an immersive, inspiring adventure that connects you to nature in the most memorable way.

What to expect

5:30 PM – Check-In at Ecotours Office.
5:45 PM Meet your guide and fellow guests for a brief, engaging talk on sea turtle biology and conservation. Restroom access available before departure.

Transfer & Beach Walk
Enjoy a short drive, followed by a gentle 10-minute walk (under half a mile) along the beach. Learn about the local coastal environment and mangroves from your guide.

Arrival at Sea Turtle Camp
Get introduced to the camp and ongoing conservation efforts like nest monitoring and hatchling care.

Sunset Turtle Release
At sunset, join our biologist for a special moment: helping baby turtles safely reach the ocean.

8:00 PM – Return to Ecotours Office
Drive back to the office. Restrooms and transportation arrangements available upon return.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
All participants must be able to walk 1 mile in total on sand and loose gravel.
If there are no baby turtles on the day of your tour, our sales staff will contact you to re-schedule your reservation.
Only 1 baby or infant may be seated on the lap of each adult and must be included in the reservation
For safety reasons, children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult. They will share a coconut to carry the hatchlings to the beach, where they will release them into the ocean.
Not recommended for travellers with problem to walk.
Due to the amount of walking required, this is not recommended for people in advanced stages of pregnancy."
