Your guide will warmly welcome you at entrance of the excavations and will take you to an unforgettable walking visit of 1h30min in history! Herculaneum, unlike Pompeii, was mainly covered by ash and mud, only partially by lava, so everything is better preserved than Pompeii: still houses have their doors and frescos in a very good status. This village was smaller than Pompeii and was mainly a residential area.
