Overview

During this 3-4 hours unique cooking workshop, you’ll be taken into an authentic local spice market to explore it with fun challenges to complete and learn different species of Chinese spices and ingredients that will be used in the following cooking class. The class will be carried out in a traditional Chinese style courtyard. You’ll be treated with local tea as it’s local’s custom to treat friends and visitors. After that, you then will be guided to start the cooking process by a professional chef in a cozy kitchen. Finally, you can enjoy the dishes made by yourself along with some beers or beverages. What to expect

1. Local Market Visit (45 min) – Explore a traditional Xi'an wet market.
2. Tea & Culture (25 min) – Sit down with a cup of Jingyang Fu tea (泾阳茯茶) — a dark, fermented tea that is Xi'an's traditional pairing for oily, spicy noodles.
3. Biangbiang Noodle Making (2 hours) – Get your hands dirty!
