Overview

Taste your way through Uptown Dallas with 8 generous tastings at 4 restaurants and 1 bakery, a ride aboard a real historic streetcar and a behind-the-scenes trolley barn experience. Come hungry for Moroccan-Lebanese, Thai, Tex-Mex and Guatemalan flavors—with plenty of food for a meal.
Then climb aboard an authentic McKinney Avenue streetcar—not a reproduction—and hear the remarkable stories behind the vintage cars that still roll through Dallas, including Rosie, the fleet’s oldest car, which came all the way from Portugal.
When available, go behind the scenes at the McKinney Avenue Trolley Car Barn, a working facility not generally open to the public. See where the historic cars are restored and maintained and meet some of the people who keep them rolling.
Uptown Eats! launched in 2011 as Dallas’ original walking food tour, bringing together great food, neighborhood stories and a piece of Dallas history you can actually ride.
