Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica

Day 2: Arenal Volcano Area

   On the way to Arenal, we will visit the famous town of Sarchí, known as the birthplace of Costa Rica’s artisans. You will find a variety of local crafts and souvenirs, as well as the world’s largest ox cart—recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. As we continue the journey, enjoy the drive until we reach the charming town of La Fortuna. You will enjoy a walk along a trail at the base of the Arenal Volcano. You will learn about the history and its impact on the local area and community. Marvel at the breathtaking views before continuing to the second highlight of the day! Ecotermales Hot Springs offers a more intimate and tranquil experience, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. The naturally heated mineral waters flow through a series of beautifully designed pools with varying temperatures, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Day 3: Arenal Area

   This protected area is considered one of the richest in biological diversity in our country and is characterized by its extensive wetlands, marshes, and lagoons, which provide a vital habitat for numerous migratory birds and aquatic creatures. It takes approximately 2hours to reach Los Chiles, a culturally diverse village located just 4km from the Nicaraguan border. Explore the refuge's intricate network of waterways and mangroves on a 2.5 hour guided boat tour where you will have the chance to observe incredible wildlife up close. The refuge is home to numerous bird species, including herons, egrets, kingfishers and the magnificent Roseate Spoonbill. Delight in the sight of caimans basking in the sun, monkeys swinging from tree to tree and colorful birds soaring overhead. Learn about the unique flora and fauna that thrive in this vibrant wetland ecosystem.

Day 4: Guanacaste Area

   After enjoying one of the best destinations in Costa Rica for nature lovers it is time to visit Guanacaste, famous for the best beaches and also home of the Dry Tropical Forest. This trip will take approximately 3-4 hours and you will enjoy the amazing views.

Day 5: Guanacaste area

   Begin your journey aboard a catamaran departing from Coco or Tamarindo Beach, giving you exclusive access to some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and secluded beaches and snorkeling spots. As we sail along the scenic coastline, keep an eye out for incredible marine wildlife, including dolphins, sea turtles, tropical fish, manta rays, and even whales during the right season. Enjoy a relaxed and fun atmosphere on board, with a professional and friendly crew that will ensure your experience is both comfortable and memorable. Refreshments will be served throughout the cruise, and activities such as guided snorkeling and swimming are available for all ages. The tour ends with a breathtaking sunset sail — the perfect finale to an unforgettable Costa Rican adventure.

   You will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel and transferred you to Liberia International Airport (LIR) for your departing flight.
