We’ll meet inside Louvre Abu Dhabi, near the striking The Funeral of Mona Lisa, where I’ll introduce the museum and the story behind Jean Nouvel’s extraordinary architecture. From there, we’ll travel through thousands of years of human creativity—from some of the world’s earliest artifacts and ancient civilizations to Greek and Roman art, Buddhism, the Silk Road, and the cultural exchanges that connected East and West. Along the way, we’ll stop at carefully selected highlights, uncover surprising connections between objects, and explore masterpieces from artists such as Mondrian. We’ll finish beneath the museum’s spectacular dome, where you’ll experience its famous “rain of light” and have time for photos, questions, and recommendations for what to explore next on your own.
