With no prior experience needed, you'll explore two vibrant reef spots, teeming with marine life and coral formations. Under the guidance of a certified instructor, practice essential skills in shallow waters before embarking on two dives at a maximum depth of 10 meters (33 feet). All equipment is provided, and small group sizes ensure personalized attention, making this the ideal introduction to the underwater world. Open to divers aged 10 and up, this experience offers a safe and supportive environment to discover the beauty beneath the waves.

What to expect

Your adventure begins at Scuba Kraken Dive Center in Puerto Morelos. No certification or previous diving experience is needed!

After completing the paperwork, your instructor will introduce the equipment, breathing techniques, equalization, underwater signals, and safety procedures. You'll then practice three basic scuba skills in our pool to feel comfortable before entering the ocean.

Next, we'll walk to the nearby boat and head to Puerto Morelos National Reef Park. After a safety briefing, you'll enjoy your first guided dive among colorful fish and coral formations, with your instructor by your side.

Between dives, relax on the boat with water and snacks before exploring a second reef site. This extra dive gives you more time to gain confidence and enjoy the underwater world.

Back at Scuba Kraken, we'll share our favorite moments, talk about the marine life we saw, and discuss your next underwater adventure!
