After sunrise, hike autonomously and at your own pace, following to Pico Ruivo and then along PR1.2 to Achadas do Teixeira. The route is approximately 8–8.5 km and normally takes between 3 and 4 hours.

We handle transportation, with pickup at meeting points in Funchal and return at 12:00 at Achadas do Teixeira, near the entrance of Mountain Spot Café. The trail access ticket is included.
