Overview

Spend a morning, an afternoon, a sunset or a whole day at sea aboard Katia, a Regal Commodore 2660 (8.1 m), with your own local skipper. Only your group is on board, up to 6 guests.

Leave Marina di Capitana, 15 minutes east of Cagliari, and cruise along the south coast of Sardinia to clear turquoise bays such as Mari Pintau. Your skipper picks the coves each day according to the wind, so you always swim in calm water. Towels, ice and soft drinks are on board (snorkelling gear available as an extra), and there is a cabin with a bathroom and a shaded seating area.

Choose your time: morning (08:00, 4 hours), afternoon (14:00, 4 hours), sunset (18:00, 4 hours, aperitif at anchor) or a full day (08:00, 8 hours) to reach the most beautiful beaches of the south: east to Villasimius and Costa Rei, or west to Chia, depending on the wind. Food and drinks can be arranged on request.

What to expect

Spiaggia di Mari Pintau

Cruise along the coast east of Cagliari to the clear turquoise water of Mari Pintau and the nearby coves. Stop at anchor to swim and snorkel. The skipper picks the exact bays each day according to the wind, so you always swim in calm water.
Sella del Diavolo
Pass by

On longer trips and when the wind allows, sail west along the Poetto coast to admire the cliffs of the Devil's Saddle (Sella del Diavolo), Cagliari's famous headland, from the sea.
Villasimius

On the full-day trip, weather permitting, cruise east to Villasimius: the white beaches and turquoise water around Capo Carbonara, the Isola dei Cavoli and Punta Molentis. Time to swim and snorkel in one of the most beautiful marine areas of Sardinia.
Costa Rei

On the full-day trip, weather permitting, continue north along the east coast to Costa Rei: long white sand beaches, shallow crystal-clear water and the granite rocks of Scoglio di Peppino. A relaxed stop to swim, snorkel and enjoy lunch at anchor.
Chia

Alternative full-day route, chosen on the day depending on the wind: head west along the south coast to Chia, with its golden dunes, the Torre di Chia and the clear water of Cala Cipolla and Tuerredda. Time to swim, snorkel and have lunch at anchor.

Meet your skipper at Marina di Capitana, Pier 10 (Molo 10), berth 21, Via Serchio 139, Quartu Sant'Elena, 15 minutes east of Cagliari. Look for Katia, a white Regal Commodore 2660. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. Parking is available at the marina.
