Overview

Two very different worlds. One unforgettable morning.

Start your morning bright and early at Turtle Bay, where we’ll swim and snorkel in the Caribbean in search of green sea turtles in their natural habitat. First time snorkeling? No problem. I’ll share tips to help you feel comfortable in the water, along with facts about these incredible creatures and their conservation.

Then we’ll trade the salty sea for the crystal-clear waters of a cenote in the Maya jungle. Swim, snorkel, enjoy the jungle around you, and discover why cenotes hold such a special place in Maya culture.

A fun adventure for the whole family, recommended for children aged 4 and up. Private hotel pickup, entrance fees, snorkeling gear, chilled water, and snacks included.

What to expect

I’ll pick you up right at your hotel or Airbnb and we’ll head to Akumal, where we’ll meet our local team and get ready to snorkel in Turtle Bay. After a quick safety briefing, we’ll head into the water to look for green sea turtles feeding in their natural habitat. First-time snorkelers are welcome, and I’ll be right there to help you feel comfortable in the water.

From Akumal, we’ll continue to a nearby cenote for a completely different kind of swim. We’ll explore the clear freshwater, surrounded by the jungle and limestone formations, and take some time to enjoy this beautiful natural setting.

After our swims, we’ll head back toward your hotel. The whole experience is private, so we can keep the pace relaxed and enjoy the morning without rushing from one stop to the next.
