Your guide will pick you up from the selected meeting point in Rovaniemi and drive you to the husky farm. After arriving, you'll receive driving and safety instructions before setting off on your self-drive husky cart adventure.
Drive your own team of eager huskies through the beautiful autumn forest on a 4-6 km trail, depending on weather and trail conditions. Surrounded by vibrant autumn colours and fresh Arctic air, you'll experience an authentic part of the huskies' training season. Along the way, we'll stop for photos and to enjoy the peaceful Arctic surroundings. Guests travel in shared husky carts, and adults can take turns driving during the ride.
After the ride, spend time at the farm meeting the huskies, taking photos, and learning about their daily life and preparation for winter. The experience continues in a traditional Finnish kota, where you'll enjoy grilled sausage, cookies, and seasonal hot drinks by the fire while chatting with your guide. Small group sizes create a relaxed and personal atmosphere, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the huskies and the beauty of Lapland's autumn nature.
Departure management is completed the evening before the activity. The final departure time will be confirmed then and is typically very close to the originally scheduled start time.
