What to expect

  1. Mondello
    1h
The famous Bay of Mondello, nestled between Monte Pellegrino and Monte Gallo and characterized by sandy bottoms and turquoise waters. From the sea we can admire the long beach, the Liberty villas, and the characteristic Charleston bathing establishment. Here is one of the main stops of the tour, with time to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the bay directly from the boat.
  2. Pass by
Past Mondello, we will continue along the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, where the landscape changes completely and gives way to the high rocky walls of the promontory and the Mediterranean vegetation. We will hug the reserve until we reach the tip of Capo Gallo. Once past the promontory, the scenery opens up towards the western coast of Sicily, offering a splendid view of the islet of Isola delle Femmine, perfectly visible from the sea. On days of good visibility, looking even further west, it will be possible to spot the listing of the promontory of San Vito Lo Capo. It is one of the most panoramic points of the entire tour, where the Gulf of Palermo gives way to the great horizon of the western Tyrrhenian Sea, before starting the return navigation.
  3. 1h
We will then reach Addaura, where the imposing walls of Monte Pellegrino descend towards the sea, forming rocks, small bays, and coves of splendid blue tones. In one of the most scenic and sheltered spots, it will be possible to stop for a swim, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and relax on the promontory.
  4. Grotta della regina
    1h
We will proceed towards the evocative Queen's Grotto, nestled in the rocky slopes of Mount Pellegrino and traditionally linked to Queen Carolina of Austria, wife of Ferdinand I of Bourbon. From the sea it is possible to observe the natural cavities of the coast and enjoy a particular perspective on the Gulf of Palermo.
