Overview

I have been a tour guide in Lyon since I started my studies in 2023 and it has been a pleasure to show the wonders of the city to people from all over the globe, from the romantic Old Town typical of the Renaissance to the antique Roman ruins up on the hill of Fourvière. This year as I'm starting a new adventure with theatrical studies and deeper commitment in culture and history related jobs, I want to dedicate as much time as I possibly can to deliver the best tours you can dream of in this inimitable city filled with legends and stories.     It started it all here, more than 2000 years ago and we have the chance of still having a living proof of it to the eyes of everyone: Fourvière Roman theater, one of the oldest in France, and the emblem of Lugdunum's (ancient name of Lyon) status as Antiquity's second most influential capital right after Rome.

We'll be meeting at the big horses fountain facing the Beaux Arts Museum. You can't miss it. I'll be wearing blue jeans, a dark blue jacket, and glasses. See you soon!

End point

The tour ends on the parvis of Notre Dame de Fourvière's basilica, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole city.
