What to expect

Hour 1: Briefing and Practical Challenge
We meet near the MTR and head to Starbucks. Over a quick drink, we’ll discuss your goals, review camera or smartphone settings, and cover safety and composition basics. Next, pair up for a hands-on 15-minute shooting exercise in Yau Ma Tei, followed by constructive group feedback.

Hour 2: Guided Photo Walk Across Iconic Districts
We embark on an immersive walk through Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, and Prince Edward. Exploring historic alleys, neon streetscapes, and local markets, you’ll receive real-time coaching on framing, leading lines, and candid scenes—with Carl on hand to answer questions and spot photo ops.

Hour 3: Visual Refinement and Photo Review
Train your eye to capture story-driven opportunities in real time as we walk. For the final 30 minutes, we return to Starbucks to review favourite shots, discuss editing potential, and celebrate your progress.
