Discover Scuba Diving: Introductory scuba diving at both the Blue Cave and whale shark sites.
Meet your instructor at the Blue Cave departure harbor for equipment fitting and a safety briefing. Board the boat and explore the cave’s enchanting blue glow and colorful marine life with your guide.
Next, transfer to the whale shark departure harbor and enjoy the included lunch. After a briefing and a short boat ride, snorkel above a netted ocean enclosure and watch the magnificent whale shark glide beneath you. Your guide accompanies both snorkeling activities, with complimentary photos to capture your memories.
Both activities are snorkeling only. Beginners are welcome, with no diving certification required. Guidance is available in English, Chinese, or Japanese. All essential snorkeling equipment, lunch, and photos are included.
Guests using our pickup service will be transferred back to their designated drop-off locations after the activities.
The Blue Cave is normally visited first, followed by whale shark snorkeling. Activity order, lunch timing, and the schedule may change depending on boat operators’ booking availability and sea conditions. Return times may also be affected by traffic.

Pickup locations and times:
- 8:45 AM — Okinawa Hinode Hotel: Please wait by the roadside directly outside the hotel entrance.
- 9:25 AM — The Beach Tower Okinawa: Please wait in front of the stone wall displaying “北谷公園” (Chatan Park), next to the hotel. The pickup vehicle will stop there.
