Transform into a maiko and a samurai as a couple at our photo studio near Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama district. For women, the plan includes traditional white make-up (optional if you prefer natural make-up), dressing in an authentic kimono of your choice from around 100 kimonos with tabi socks included, false eyelashes on request, and a natural wig (full wig, half wig, or no wig). For men, it includes dressing in a samurai-style kimono with tabi socks. A professional photographer then takes 3 pictures (together or single shots) in your choice of setting: Japanese-style room, Japanese tea room, Japanese garden, or gold folding screen. You will receive a folding photo mount (195 mm x 195 mm) with 3 pictures selected by our photographers, and the data of all pictures taken during the shoot. After the photo session, you have 10 minutes of free time to take photos by yourselves with your own camera or video. On the day of your visit, optional add-ons such as additional photo cuts or an outdoor walk can be arranged at reception.
