Spend a full day learning to sail along the coast of São Miguel in the Azores. From the moment you leave Ponta Delgada, you’ll become an active member of the crew rather than simply a passenger.
Under the guidance of an experienced skipper and sailing instructor, you’ll take the helm, trim the sails and learn how wind, direction and boat balance work together. The day is hands-on and adapted to the weather and sea conditions, so you learn through real sailing rather than a fixed classroom-style programme.
As you sail along São Miguel’s volcanic coastline, you’ll also have time to enjoy the scenery, the open Atlantic and the unique perspective of the island from the water.
No previous sailing experience is required. The experience is designed for beginners as well as guests who already have some sailing knowledge and want to build confidence.
