Overview

Before there were sold-out arenas and thirteen million sold records, there were three guys, a toy keyboard, and a radical idea. This tour follows the incredible journey of the band Trio – the architects of one of the most iconic sounds of the New German Wave. You go from the days as a teacher training student at a politically charged university in the 70s through the smoky pub scene of Oldenburg to the station that marked your escape into rural isolation. Discover how the rejection of musical excesses and the search for minimalism created a worldwide pop phenomenon – a story about art, isolation, and the price of commercial triumph.

4.0 km self-guided tour with 4 stations over 105 min.
