Enjoy Japanese City Pop records from the 1970s and 1980s in a small underground cafe in Kyoto. This is a quiet guided listening experience, not a loud party or DJ event.
The host will introduce the background of City Pop, its connection to Japanese cafe and vinyl culture, and the stories behind selected records. You will listen to a curated program on vinyl while relaxing with one drink and a light snack.
An original City Pop booklet written by the host is included, so you can read along, take notes, and bring it home as a small guide to Japanese music. At the end of the experience, you will also receive an Instax photo keepsake.
Guidance is in simple English and Japanese. Even if you do not understand every word, you can enjoy the music, atmosphere, records, booklet, and quiet local cafe setting.
