This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to give you a hands-on understanding of how a piece of silver jewelry is made which is from casting to the final polish. You will learn the purpose and techniques behind each stage of traditional jewelry making.
The workshop begins with a demonstration of the casting process, giving you an insight into how molten metal is transformed into a jewelry piece. You will then take over the hands-on finishing stages, including refining the surface, oxidizing the silver to create depth and contrast, and polishing the piece to reveal its final finish.
You will choose from a selection of silver ring designs provided by the studio. All provided designs feature an adjustable fit, allowing you to personalize the size of your ring. You will then use your chosen design to learn and experience each stage of the jewelry-making process.
Add a personal touch to your ring through custom engraving. Your initials, a message, or even your own fingerprint can be engraved onto the piece, turning the finished ring into something that carries your own identity and story.
No prior experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn and create.
