Day 1: Saqqara & Dahshur

Step Pyramid of Djoser
Pass by

Visit Saqqara, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser (built around 2700 BC) and the Pyramid of Unas (around 2300 BC).
See the oldest religious texts in history (the Pyramid Texts).
Visit the tombs of the nobles, where you can admire scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt.
Continue to the Dahshur Pyramids, located about 25 km south of Saqqara.

Day 2: Coptic & Islamic Cairo
