Overview

Your guide isn't just touring DC, he lives here. As a professional historian and DC resident, he connects the Capitol, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress to the city you're actually standing in, not a script recited from memory. Inside the Capitol, a docent leads you through the Rotunda, Statuary Hall, and the Crypt, while your guide adds the context that makes those rooms matter. Add in tickets handled for you and a small group capped at 16, and you get a history tour built around depth and access, not just checking landmarks off a list.

What's included

  • Local DC Guide and Historian

What to expect

  1. U.S. Capitol
    1h
We go inside the Capitol. Tickets are already sorted, so there's no reservation scramble and no wondering if you'll get in. Inside, you will be guided by a Capitol docent, who leads you through the Rotunda, Statuary Hall, and the Crypt. Your guide, a DC-based historian, rejoins for context along the way, connecting what happened in these rooms to why Washington still works the way it does today.
  2. Supreme Court
    30m
Your guide will share with you insights on architecture and the significance of the Supreme Court.
  3. Library of Congress
    1h
Tickets are reserved ahead of time on your behalf. You enter the Great Hall and become immersed in the history of the Library.
