Overview

Explore the scenic waters of Spring Garden Creek on a guided kayak tour led by an experienced naturalist. Unlike paddling on your own, this small-group adventure combines peaceful exploration with fascinating insights into one of Florida's most beautiful freshwater ecosystems. Your guide will share stories about the area's history, native wildlife, and unique spring-fed environment as you paddle through calm, crystal-clear waters.

Every tour is different, offering new opportunities to spot wildlife such as wading birds, turtles, manatees, and even alligators in their natural habitat. With groups limited to just 10 guests, you'll enjoy a more personalized experience with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, take photos, and learn about the incredible biodiversity of De Leon Springs State Park. This guided adventure offers an unforgettable way to connect with Florida's natural beauty while exploring waterways that few visitors experience up close.

While every trip out on the water is unique and wildlife varies from day to day, animals that are commonly seen are wading birds, manatees, and alligators. In general, these trips are great for birders, sightseers, and photographers. These small group tours (up to 10 guests per guide) allow our naturalists to provide more special attention to the guests.
